the birth of an elite team
Genesis, a division of Navis in Huttons Asia Pte Ltd, founded by Matthias Chia traced its roots to DTZ Debenham Tie Leung (SEA) back in 2008 when he first joined the industry. In 2016, DTZ bought out the majority stake of over 60 per cent held by Cushman & Wakefield and relaunched the firm with its original name, Edmund Tie & Company. In 2017, OrangeTee and Edmund Tie & Co. (ET&Co) announced the merger of their associate agencies to create a new entity, OrangeTee & Tie.

With the desire to make a difference in this cut throat industry, together with several like-minded industry leaders, Project-In Charge Damian Chia, Derrick Chan, Gerald Goh, Reanne Leu as well as veterans like Daniel Chiau, Cheryl Ho, Eric Kang, Marc Goh, Sun Juinn mei & Rebecca Kang, Genesis embark onto a new chapter together with Navis group under the umbrella of Stuart Chng to Huttons in 2022.
